BILL RUDGE –– This ministry is definitely not Bill’s, but the Lord’s. There are numerous people who assist Bill in making this ministry so effective and help him to fulfill the tremendous vision and goals the Lord has given him. It was never Bill’s desire to have his name included (he had strongly opposed the idea, until the Lord gave definite direction concerning the name it now bears). We now see the Lord’s wisdom in this. With so many organizations rising up with Christian sounding names, it is hard to distinguish a solid Biblical ministry from an “extreme” or New Age group. But, because Bill has a reputation as a speaker and author who boldly defends Biblical Christianity, credibility has been added to the ministry.

Interestingly, Bill’s initial birth certificate was Dale Rudge, which was changed by his mother to William John (Bill). “Bill” means “bold protector” or “determined guardian.” We think this is a most appropriate name since Bill is known for being a “bold protector” and “determined guardian” of the “faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).
