About William (BJ) J. Rudge Jr., Ph.D.
Executive Assistant, Bill Rudge Ministries
BJ has been working with his father, Bill, at Bill Rudge Ministries since 2000. As the executive assistant for the ministry, BJ is responsible for training staff, speaking engagements and lectures, doing research, writing articles for newsletters and journals, overseeing ministry facilities, and public relations. BJ’s main area of focus is in Christian apologetics. The verses that best exemplify the heart of BJ’s ministry are I Peter 3:15, “always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you;” and Jude 3, “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”
BJ received his B.A. in Biblical Studies and Philosophy from Geneva College, an M.A. in Theological Studies from Biola University, and a Ph.D. in philosophy and apologetics from Trinity Theological Seminary. He is an adjunct professor with California Biblical University and Seminary, and a faculty mentor for Columbia Evangelical Seminary.
BJ speaks to youth and adult groups on a variety of topics such as: Evidence for the Faith; Reliability of the Bible; Evidence for the Resurrection; Uniqueness of Christianity; Deity of Jesus Christ; Book of Revelation.
BJ and his wife, Tara, have three children: Moriah, Anneka, and Lucas. BJ is also head varsity soccer coach for a local high school. Click on BJ’s resume for additional information.
